Brickstone Studios did GFRC countertops in four bathrooms and kitchen at the Charity house at Homearama this year. Right next door, was The Easy Living House and we showed product in there too! Brickstone also installed custom outdoor fire pits and outdoor kitchens in both homes, along with fireplaces, in both. Our countertops have been of huge interest to everyone who saw them. They are absolutely gorgeous, with many different shapes and sizes. The sinks were built right in to these countertops. Some were round, others more of a trough shape. One was very unusual, kind of an art deco shape with the fixtures mounted off to the side. Most were done in our almond ivory color, but one was also done in Aspen white. We have many different colored dyes which can be worked into our GFRC (glass fiber reinforced concrete) mixture so there is a myriad of colors available. It’s a known fact that bathrooms and kitchens are very much a selling point for houses and our countertops and sinks give that cutting edge design that homeowners want. They become the focal point of the room…gorgeous, durable and very affordable!!! We are very proud of the work we did there.
