This unique, one-of-a-kind home, situated on the
Lafayette River in Norfolk, commanded an equally
unique double-sided fireplace for the living and dining
areas. The homeowners, designer Ron Eicholtz and
Dr. George Maihafer, carefully chose the combined style
of the Coventry Manor fi replace with Artisan detail in
the living room side, and an appropriate, simple frame
with trim for the dining/kitchen side. This double- sided
fireplace is a true conversation piece. Part of the beauty
of Brickstone product is the versatility, especially when
paired with the designing talent of clients like these two.
The result is total magazine quality and a display of
impeccable taste.
