The ever popular Norfolk Mermaids are continually making an appearance all around Norfolk. Local artists have put their special touches on them in an array of colors and textures. You see them in front of businesses, private homes, along the waterfronts…each and every one having their own personality. Initially the mermaids that went up for auction were made of fiberglass, about 10 foot in length and were hollow. At Brickstone Studios, we make the 10 foot mermaid, along with a smaller 4 foot size that is just perfect for people’s yards.
