The newest product line of Brickstone Studios, elements for the outdoor room, is proving to be a huge hit with Hampton Roads homeowners. We have been extremely busy all summer creating stunning outdoor kitchens, fireplaces, stamped concrete patios and walkways, fire pits and urns, and we're constantly expanding an impressive portfolio. In addition to this work, we're also steady building indoor fireplaces (the burning season is right around the corner!!) and some interesting custom projects. One of them is a huge sundial for Salem High School in Virginia Beach. Each year the graduating class donates something to go on the grounds of the school and this year, they contacted Brickstone Studios for ideas. The design staff of Brickstone Studios, came up with a unique idea...a huge equatorial sundial, beautifully detailed, with the "SunDevils" logo incorporated in the design. Our sculptor is working on this now and it will be completed and installed in a couple weeks. Another custom project was a huge wave sculpture for a luxury condo located in Bethesda, Md. It was placed on the 15th floor beside the pool. It was exciting to see this huge sculpture hoisted up by crane, then placed within the wall. It was a perfect fit and looked absolutely gorgeous. We worked with Paradigm Development, a construction company that builds elaborate upscale high rises in the mid-Atlantic region, on this project. Brickstone Studios welcomes such projects. There is nothing too large or small that w can't do...if it can be dreamed up, we can cast it in stone.
