Every year Brickstone is involved in at least two homes, and this year's HomeArama is no different. For the second year in a row we are involved in the Charity House, built by Herb Watson, which benefits CHKD. This year we produced a beautiful Loire Valley fireplace and hearth, gorgeous cement countertops in the kitchen, and cement countertops with built in sinks in four bathrooms. AND this year for the first time, we built an outdoor kitchen, complete with grill, and a chair-height firepit for the outdoor patio area. This house is already sold and the owners were quite impressed with our product!!
Our cast stone product is in the Easy Living house next door which also has an outdoor kitchen and firepit on the patio. Inside is a majestic Victoria fireplace with hearth and top mantel which goes to the ceiling, and will house the large flatscreen tv. In the small enclosed garden area off one of the bedrooms, we made a fountain with three whimsical brass spigots. We're making a brand new line of firepits, fountains, outdoor fireplaces and kitchens that are HOT HOT HOT!
