Our History

Brickstone Studios was founded in 1989,  in Lincoln, Nebraska. Our founder combined his experience and training as an artist with the bricklaying and stone mason industry. He had a vision for creating works of art in the medium of brick. Brickstone Studios has been responsible for many nationally recognized works ranging from memorials to historical
stories set in brick and precast sculpture.

Brickstone Studios’ production center and headquarters moved to Norfolk, Virgina in 1999 . Previous production often occurred at private studios and brickyards in the Lincoln area. Now we are nationwide.  Many Brickstone artists and sculptors still utilize their own studios for small commissioned projects. A new building is now underway to meet the ever-increasing demands for more and more diverse product lines.

Brickstone has an art staff that coordinates projects with our artists and sculptors to facilitate high-quality production in a timely and affordable fashion. We have skilled craftsmen in our carpentry shop, and production facility and are here to meet or exceed your expectations.
