A. GFRC is a lightweight product made from glass fibers, Portland cement, special polymers and aggregate.

Q. What are the advantages of using GFRC?
A. There are many:
Intricate detail in mold casting can be achieved
It is about 25% lighter than concrete.
It is stronger and more durable than concrete.
Colors are custom blended for better consistency.
It gives the look of natural stone at a fraction of the cost.

Q. Can we purchase mantel components separately?
A. Yes, all of our components can be purchased separately.

Q. How do I measure my fireplace?
A. Use our worksheet for correct sizing. It explains it all.

Q. How is delivery of the fireplace to my home or home site handled?
A. We handle crating and shipment to your home. We can also arrange lift gate deliveries, where needed.

Q. Is the surface of the mantels smooth or rough?
A. It can be either. We can give an old world appearance or a smoother natural look.

Q. Do I need filler panels?
A. No. Once we have your measurements, we will design an exact fit.

Q. Can I mix and match mantel shelves and legs?
A. Yes.

Q. Can I custom design my own fireplace?
A. Absolutely. Our sculptors and craftsmen love to bring your ideas to life. Our grafics designer can also superimpose our ideas if you send us digital pictures of your room.

Q. How do I find someone to install my fireplace?
A. Local masons will be happy to help you, and they can call us with any questions.

Q. Are Brickstone products for new construction only or can they be installed in an existing home?
A. No, Brickstone products are not for new construction only, and yes, they can be installed in an existing home. Although we love new construction, a large portion of our work has been room remodeling.

Q. Do you do more than fireplaces?
A. Of course we do! We do everything from a 3 inch tile to 60 foot murals. And, we love a challenge, so give us a call with your ideas.
